NFPA 350:2022 — Safe confined space entry and work
Dans les accidents en espace confiné, les secouristes improvisés meurent souvent avec la victime qu'ils voulaient sortir. C'est pourquoi cette auto-évaluation consacre un chapitre entier au sauvetage et à l'intervention d'urgence, à côté de l'identification des espaces, de la surveillance atmosphérique, de l'élimination des dangers et de la ventilation. Elle suit la NFPA 350, qui est un guide de bonnes pratiques : on s'y situe entre mis en œuvre, partiellement et non mis en œuvre, plutôt qu'entre conforme et non conforme. Elle sert aux sites qui exploitent des cuves, silos, fosses ou réseaux, et aux entreprises intervenantes qui doivent démontrer la maturité de leur programme avant d'entrer.
